Judd Apatow endorses Ben Carson in priceless parody: ‘I tried to hit my mom with a hammer’ too

In an ad promoting his appearance on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show, director Judd Apatow announced that he’s is thinking of supporting retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson because they have a shared history of violence against friends and family.

The popular director of “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and “Trainwreck” admits to giving thought to voting for Carson who has gone to great pains to play up his violent past to show how much he grew as a man.

“I think I’m going to vote for Ben Carson,”Apatow says in voice-over.

“I relate to him,” he admits before detailing his thought process. “I tried to stab a guy once. And I tried to hit my mom with a hammer.”

Apatow then claims he’ll tell people in liberal Hollywood that he is voting for Hillary Clinton, before admitting “Carson’s my guy.”
