Sen. Bernie Sanders is pushing new legislation to raise the minimum wage for all workers to $15 an hour. The Democratic presidential candidate will introduce the minimum wage bill Wednesday. Sanders has long called for a $15 minimum wage, but this is the first bill he is introducing to do so. It’s believed to be the highest minimum wage that has ever been proposed by legislation in Congress.

Off The Grid   I’d like to see them implement a maximum wage. If you can’t live off of $100,000,000 a year, there’s something wrong with you. There’s not a person on the planet that should make more than that in one year. What could you possible spend it all on? Related Story Jesse Ventura: Bernie

The Institute for Justice reports that civil forfeiture laws allow the government to take cash, businesses, cars, homes and other property suspected of being involved in criminal activity. Here’s how law enforcement abuses the system.

Brigida Santos Civil forfeiture laws allow the government to take cash, businesses, cars, homes and other property suspected of being involved in criminal activity. Jeb Bush outlined a wide-ranging plan to rein in the size of the federal government and curb the influence of lobbyists who live off it. Portraying himself as a political outsider Mr. Bush called for a 10 percent reduction in the federal workforce, an immediate hiring freeze, a constitutional amendment requiring a balanced budget and a six-year waiting period before members of Congress can become lobbyists.

Off The Grid   He’s trying to become a hero to the working people. Jeb Bush is not an outsider. You talk about the Kennedy dynasty in this country. The Bush dynasty has been way longer and way larger. He is not by any stretch an outsider. He’s trying to pull the same thing that

Republicans and Democrats have been accused of being two arms of the same corrupt political body. Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush are demonized by each other, by their opponents, and even by factions within their own parties, but they have more in common than you might think.

Jen Hobbs Here are 15 ways Jeb Bush is just like Hillary Clinton: 1.) They project entitlement:  Bush and Clinton represent a political class that is seen as living lives apart from those they represent, people who are seen as out for themselves rather than for ordinary people. – Dan Balz, Washington Post 2.) They are both

A new $14.7 million military warehouse facility in Afghanistan wasleft empty because the intended occupants, the Defense Logistics Agency, had already ended their mission in Kandahar. However, construction continued for six months after the fact that it would no longer be needed. Instead, the military added $400,000 of modifications to the buildings knowing it would never be used, SIGAR wrote in a report.

Off The Grid   Imagine the outcry from the politicians if they found out the government had given a few million dollars to poor people who weren’t qualified to get welfare. Fox News would be outraged! And every news agency in America would be on board. When you hear about wasteful spending like this on war,
