Have you heard of this story? Probably not. Big Media and U.S. law enforcement doesnt like to talk about alleged Christian terrorists, who also happen to be white and former congressional candidates.
Off The Grid
Imagine this scenario for a moment: an older, radicalized man using social media attempts to recruit motivated, like-minded individuals to help him utterly destroy an American town in order to get the attention of the American people. His plot calls for the burning down of the towns religious institution along with its school and cafeteria.
Imagine the FBI, through an informant, stops him before he can execute his alleged plot. Now I want you to imagine what this man looks like and what the United States justice system will charge him with.Where do you think he will be sent? How do you think he will be treated? Will he get a fair trial? Will the mainstream media spend days on end talking about the dangers of this man and what he stands for?
Well imagine no more because this is the reportedly true story of 63-year-old former Tennessee congressional candidate, Robert Doggart. Not quite the man you imagined is it.Doggart was indicted for allegedly plotting to destroy the town of Islamberg, a small Muslim hamlet about 130 miles outside of New York City.
Former congressional candidate Robert Doggart.
We will be cruel to them. And we will burn down their buildings … And if it gets down to the machete, we will cut them to shreds.
This is what Doggart allegedly told an FBI informant back in March about his plans for the Muslim citizens of Islamberg.
Now comes the most fascinating element to this story.Doggart will not be charged with plotting an act of terrorism and, after pleading guilty to the crime of interstate communication of threats, he has been released on a $30,000 bail to the custody of his family.
Now, this technique of pre-crime, ie, going after someone for a crime they might commit, is in of itself something that needs to analyzed and debated. What is not, I believe, up for debate is the radically different treatment a white, Christian alleged terrorist receives in the United States as opposed to a Middle Eastern Muslim accused of planning terroristic acts. This treatment of this case by the powers at be and the media is in my opinion wildly hypocritical.
By the way, Doggarts plea deal was recently thrown out after Judge Curtis Collier ruled that the prosecution failed to prove that the threat Doggert posed was indeed a true threat despite the fact that in court papers both the prosecution and his defense attorneys agreed that his stated actions and intentions prove his threats were in nature true.
