Has Donald Trump lost Fox News? After last night’s debates, he just might have.
Last night, Donald Trump went on a tear during the first GOP debate on Fox News. The man, who went into the event as the highest polling candidate in the party, appears to have turned the conservative news outlet against him, something that seemed impossible until now.
While Trumps time on stage was entertaining, it was also pretty offensive. He spewed a long list of insults at virtually every candidate and even our government as a whole. You can read his most shocking moments via Slate. But what was most surprising was how he lashed out at the debate moderators, most notably Megyn Kelly. During the debate he told her,
Ive been very nice to you, although I could probably maybe not be based on the way you have treated me.”
“The Fox News trio, especially Megyn Kelly, was not very good or professional!” he wrote at 3:53 a.m. Friday. Trump also said she “really bombed,” and then retweeted a dozen fans who criticized her hostility and called her a “bimbo.” Then he called into MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” to advance his complaints.
Last nights appearance only added kindling to the feud between Trump and Fox News, which actually began about two weeks ago at the Family Leadership Summit in Iowa after Trump attacked John McCains war record, particularly, the five years the senator spent as a POW. At the event, Trump stated,
“Hes a war hero because he was captured…I like people that werent captured, OK?”
When is Donald Trump going to stop embarrassing his friends, let alone the whole country?
