A Hillview, Kentucky man was arrested for shooting down a drone worth $1,800. He says he was protecting his property and the privacy of his daughters, as the drone was hovering over them in his backyard.

Jen Hobbs  Is it an invasion of privacy for someone to fly a personal drone over someone else’s property without that person’s permission?  I’d say yes. There’s no way to tell what the intentions are of the anonymous person manning the drone. Is this person flying the drone for fun? Is this person gathering intel to rob you later

It’s time again to answer questions from you, my vigilant fans! Got a question for the Governor? Sound off at Ora.tv/OffTheGrid.

Off The Grid Yves Legault from Canada asks: Why can the government get away with illegal activities by declaring them top secret? Jesse Says: Related Story Jesse Ventura: We Should Destroy Every Nuclear Weapon on the Planet It’s because they set up the rules! Anything they do that’s illegal, all they need to do is

A new Gallup poll showed that Pope Francis’ favorability rating among Americans has dropped to 59%, from 76% in February 2014. The apparent disenchantment follows an escalation in recent months in the Pope’s rhetoric against global capitalism. The Pope’s call to action on climate change has also proven awkward for Republican politicians who still question the science behind global warming.

Off The Grid It’s kind of interesting that they want a pope who goes along to get along. I love this guy. I think Pope Francis is the best pope we’ve had in my lifetime, without a doubt. He tells the truth. When you tell the truth in the United States, you aren’t looked upon

A released CNN poll finds Sanders out-polling all of the GOP’s major candidates, though pretty much tied with Jeb Bush.

Off The Grid It’s wonderful because Bernie Sanders opposes the wars. He’ll get us out of them. I’m a one-issue voter this time. I’m voting for anyone who will get us out of the Middle East. Anyone other than Bernie Sanders or Rand Paul will continue with the same foreign policy we’ve always had. We’ll

Teenage boys might have to start asking teen girls for valid ID before agreeing to go on a first date if they want to stay off the sex offender registry.

Jen Hobbs Put yourself in this scenario: You’re 18, you go to a dating site, you start talking to a girl whose profile states she’s 17, and then you both “hook up.” The usual teenage intimacy ensues (sex), and you find out later that she lied about her age. She’s really 14-years-old, and her parents are now really

The minimum wage in America is definitely too low for people to live off of, but can the government really fix a problem that should be handled by businesses?

Off The Grid The ongoing (and complicated) debate over the minimum wage in America hit a new high this month as good ol’ Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) hyped a national $15 minimum wage on the campaign trail.  Now other presidential candidates — from Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump — have thrown in

Sen. Bernie Sanders wants to make election a day a holiday, suggesting that it could make it easier to vote. He’s also introduced legislation that would automatically register 18-year-olds to vote, and said last week that he intends to offer legislation that would allow public financing of campaigns.

Off The Grid These are all good ideas for the most part. Although, I have my doubts about making Election Day a holiday because by federal law your boss has to give you time to go vote. So you have the ability to vote if you take the initiative. Making Election Day a holiday seems

“I would prefer to be a Republican, but the party has one big problem that’ll crush it in every Presidential election.” – Mark Cuban

Jen Hobbs Shark Tank star and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban sounds off on why he could be a Republican, but just can’t bring himself to do it.  Here’s his reasoning, in his own words, reported by The Dallas Morning News: Today’s game is trashing the Republican Party. I would prefer to be a Republican. I want

The Second Chance Pell Pilot Program, a new experimental program, has been created to encourage prisoners to work towards a college degree with federal money while still behind bars.

Off The Grid The Obama administration is testing a new program that will provide a limited number of prisoners with the opportunity to pursue a college degree through federally-financed grants.   Some Republicans are against the idea, especially since the Obama administration is not waiting around for congressional approval.   Related Story Jesse Ventura: Will You
